ETHICS Lab explores the transformations of moral experience in contemporary technological societies. It does not focus on isolated domains, but investigates the conditions within which life, decision, and space are currently configured.
ETHICS Lab develops its research activity around three main trajectories, bringing together moral philosophy, technological systems, and environments of life. These trajectories do not represent separate fields, but interconnected dimensions of contemporary experience.
Research trajectories
Moral experience and forms of life
Investigates the normative and metaethical dimensions of experience, with particular attention to forms of life, the configuration of values, and the structure of decision-making.
Systems, anticipation, and delegation
Examines the role of technological systems in reshaping action, decision, and responsibility, with a focus on artificial intelligence, anticipation, and delegation.
Space, environment, and collective existence
Explores the environments in which life unfolds, from urban to ecological contexts, questioning the relationship between space, moral experience, and collective existence.
Networks and collaborations
ETHICS Lab develops through a network of academic, editorial, and research collaborations, expanding its research horizons and strengthening its interdisciplinary and international profile.
